Questions

What is the Ghosting Graveyard?

A free Halloween game: you build a headstone for each person who ghosted you, with a nickname, a cause of death like “sorry just saw this” or “lost to the talking stage,” how long it lasted, an epitaph and an offering. Up to three stones stand in your graveyard, which you can save as a story or a square image.

Can I put their real name on the stone?

No. The stones take nicknames only, like “Gym Guy” or “Hinge #3.” Full names, @handles, phone numbers and links are turned away, because a stone can end up anywhere once it’s posted, and the joke works better without anyone’s name.

What counts as ghosting?

Ending things by going quiet instead of saying so: no reply, no goodbye. It has cousins too, like the slow fade (replies that get shorter until they stop), breadcrumbing (just enough contact to keep you around) and orbiting (no texts, but still watching your stories).

Do you save my graveyard?

No. Everything is made in your browser and never sent to us: not the nicknames, not the stones, not the images. Close the page and it’s gone. If analytics is on, we only record that a stone was buried and its cause of death, and, if you save or share the image, which cause and whether it was the story, the square or the share sheet.

How do I share my graveyard?

Tap Story or Square under your graveyard. On a phone that can share images it opens your share sheet; otherwise the image downloads, or shows up for you to press and hold to save. The story size fits Instagram and TikTok stories without cropping.

Just for fun. Your stones are made on your phone and never sent, saved or seen by anyone but you.
