Questions

How does the love life movie poster work?

You pick an answer in seven quick scenes: your status, your usual first date, your biggest ick, how you text back, what your group chat calls it, your go-to opener and the city it’s filmed in. Your answers become the poster: the title, the tagline, the rating, the review and the skyline.

What are the four genres?
  • Rom-Com: Your love life is a rom-com: fast replies, big feelings and a meet-cute you’ll tell at the wedding toast.
  • Horror: Your love life is a horror movie: read receipts, 1 a.m. “wyd” texts and a talking stage that won’t end.
  • Documentary: Your love life is a documentary: closely observed, fully discussed in the group chat, quietly inspiring.
  • Indie Drama: Your love life is an indie drama: long looks, slow replies and a situationship with great lighting.
Can couples make one together?

Yes. Each of you makes a poster, then post them side by side. If one of you got a rom-com and the other got a horror movie, that’s the sequel.

How do I share my poster?

Under the poster, tap Story for a 9:16 image or Square for a 1:1 image. On a phone that can share images, your share sheet opens. On an iPhone or in an app’s browser, the image opens big: press and hold it to save it to Photos.

Is my love life really a horror movie?

It’s a joke built from everyday dating habits, not a prediction. It can’t know anyone’s feelings or your future. One ghosting doesn’t make it a horror movie, and the genre can change with the next take.

Do you save my answers?

No. The poster is made in your browser and your taps are never sent anywhere. The images are drawn on your phone too. There’s no sign-up and no email. If analytics is on, we only record that a poster was made and which of the four genres it was, and, if you save or share the image, which genre and whether it was the story, the square, the share sheet or the press-and-hold image.
