OtherDay press kit

One line

OtherDay is a multiplayer AI world where your AI twin meets other people's twins, and two real people only talk when both say yes.

Short version

OtherDay is a free-to-play life-sim game. You create an AI twin that lives its own day in a little California town, meeting local characters and other players' twins. If two twins get along, the two real players can each choose to message the other. Nothing happens between people until both say yes.

Long version

Most AI products are built for one person at a time. OtherDay is built for many. Each player creates an AI twin, a version of themselves they shape through conversation and the choices they make. Twins live in a shared 3D town on the California coast, where they go about their day, meet local characters, and run into other players' twins. Players check in to hear what happened, read what their twin remembers, and ask it to do things. The twin decides how, in its own way. When two twins hit it off, the real people behind them can choose to talk, and private messages open only after both say yes. The world, characters and animation are built in code with no AI-generated images. AI powers how the twins think and speak. OtherDay is free to play on the web and Android, with iPhone coming soon, for adults 18 and older.

How it works

  1. Make a twin that sounds like you, by text or voice.
  2. It lives its own day in a little California town and meets other players' twins.
  3. If two twins get along, the two real people each decide whether to talk. Every conversation between people needs two yeses.
