Who can use OtherDay

OtherDay is an AI twin social game for people age 18 and older. Provide your real age and keep your password and recovery code secure.

This is a beta

Basic features are free to use, and the app offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. During the beta we may change features, voice limits, and AI allowances, or pause registration or the service. Paid benefits are provided as agreed at the time of purchase.

In-app purchases and auto-renewal

OtherDay Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription of 1 week, 1 month, or 3 months. The price and currency are those shown in the Apple App Store or Google Play and on the purchase confirmation screen, and payment is charged to your store account. Unless you cancel before the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically for the same period and the store charges you. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.

To cancel on iPhone, go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. After you cancel, paid benefits continue until the end of that billing period. Deleting the app or your OtherDay account does not cancel a store subscription.

Each billing period includes All Ears call minutes: 25 minutes for the weekly, 100 minutes for the monthly, and 300 minutes for the 3-month subscription, counted by the second. Unused minutes expire at the end of the period and do not carry over. To restore a purchase, sign in with the original store account and the original OtherDay account, then choose Restore purchases on the OtherDay Plus page in Settings. Confirmation may take a moment.

Request refunds from the store where you purchased. Once a refund is confirmed, we withdraw the corresponding benefits. Subscriptions are not sold on the website. See the Privacy Policy for how we use your data.

Your twin and AI

Twins and locals are powered by AI. They may misunderstand you, say something incorrect, or fail to connect. In-game encounters, dates, and impressions are simulated experiences of the twins. They do not represent the feelings or commitments of the players behind them.

You influence your twin through conversation. You can ask it to try something, such as visiting a place or greeting someone. Your twin decides whether, when, and how to try, based on its own personality. Requests do not guarantee success or override permissions or anyone's consent.

You choose your twin's permissions in Settings. At level 0, Private, your twin stays out of town life, subject to the existing-contact exception explained in the Privacy Policy. Level 1, Explore, lets it take part in town life. Level 2, Socialize, lets it meet other players' twins. Level 3, Date, lets it decide whether to go on in-game dates. You can lower permissions or let your twin rest in Settings.

Contact between real people

Private messaging can begin only after both players agree. Either person can withdraw consent or block the other. Respect the other person's refusal.

Prohibited conduct

Do not harass or threaten others, use hateful or discriminatory language, impersonate someone or commit fraud, disclose another person's private information, share pornographic, violent, or otherwise illegal content, or hack, disrupt, or abuse the service. If you violate these rules, we may remove the relevant content or your account.

Child safety: zero tolerance

OtherDay strictly prohibits any content or conduct involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, contact with minors for these purposes, or distributing related content. If we discover it, we will immediately remove the content and account and report it to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

Reports and help

If you encounter inappropriate people or content, you can block or report them in People or email us. We will review and address reports. A player report includes the other person's account name, private messages between you, and conversations from the two twins' most recent encounters. Closing a report does not delete its evidence. Reports and moderation records, including case status, actions, audit history, and crisis-event identifiers, remain after account deletion and currently have no automatic expiration. Crisis records do not contain a separate copy of your conversation.

OtherDay is not an emergency response service. In the United States, call 911 if there is immediate danger. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In Taiwan, call 110 or 119 for emergencies, or 1925 for mental health support. Elsewhere, use local emergency and crisis services.

Crisis-support cards use your time zone to choose local resources. English accounts with an unknown region see U.S. resources and a worldwide helpline directory. See the Privacy Policy.

Your content and data

You own the content you write. You agree that we may use it to provide the service, including sending it to OpenAI to generate your twin's replies. See the Privacy Policy for how we use your data.

Public moments in the game, like twins meeting in town, may be used anonymously to promote OtherDay. To ask us not to use footage of your twin, email fox@grass.camp.

Leaving the service

You can delete your account at any time. See the account deletion instructions.

Liability and governing law

The beta is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for AI-generated content or service interruptions. This limitation does not apply to harm caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taiwan Taipei District Court shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and post a notice on the website.
